The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM.
Financial Review
Discussed the budget for 2000 to be presented at the annual meeting.
Grounds Review
Again discussed the need to get the well repaired. We will build a form around the hole on one side of the well and fill it with concrete as soon as the weather is a little warmer. Plans are for late March or April.
Bruce gave an update on the KC 150 Legacy Fund Grant Application. Any board members available will meet on Sunday, January 16, 2000, to finalize the grant proposal. The plans are to try and build a picnic area and walking path near the pool in the greenway. We hope to get a grant of up to $10,000 from the KC 150 Legacy Fund to finance the project. The hope is to use the funds to purchase materials and enlist help from the neighborhood to provide the labor.
Pool Activity
Discussed pool salaries for the 2000 season. The new salary proposals will be in the 2000 budget.
Secretary Activities
Reviewed and approved the December 1999 boards minutes.
New Business
Our accountant brought to the boards' attention that there might be one other association member that has not paid the annual dues and special assessment from last year. Dave will check on this.
Discussed having a proposal at the board meeting to allow the board to levy fines or penalties for home association violations. Further discussion will be done at the next meeting after a little more research is done.
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 11:40 A.M.
The next board meeting will be January 7, 2000 at 7:00 P.M.
