Secretaries Report

Approved the minutes of the November 18 board meeting with one change. The date for next board meeting was changed from December 16th to December 9th in the minutes.

Treasurer's Report

The board discussed the status of the budget. As of November 30th we have $518.74 in the checking account, $13,502.57 in the money market account and $6550.75 in the Special fund for a total of $20, 572.06

Old Business

Bill will get the proposed budget for next year after he gets an update on the mowing from Anthony Nolting. We will go over that at the board meeting in January prior to the annual meeting at which time it will be presented to the association members.

Approved a Deck improvement at 1600 NE 97th street.

Bill presented numbers on the cost of the swim team to use the Swimming Pool. Motion made by Rick to assess the swim team $3000 for use of the pool next year. Bill seconded the motion. This is about 2/3 of the actual cost we can associate to the extra expense caused by the swim teams use. Bill will send the swim team a letter detailing the costs and the fee so they can plan their budget.

We received a bill from A.M. Pool & Spa for two service calls. The bill was for $65 for each call. We had called them when a chlorinator valve broke this summer. They did not have the correct part so it so could not be fixed. When they returned the second time, they brought the wrong part, so they still could not fix it. The board voted to not pay this bill at this time. Bill will write them a letter stating our position. Fred has talked with Oasis Pool. Oasis Pool is going to fix it this spring.

New Business

Discussed having an annual picnic like we had two years ago. We are going to try to have one sometime in June of 2001.

Also discussed having a potluck supper once a month. We will try to also coordinate that. We will discuss both at the annual meeting to get some volunteer help.

At the annual meeting last year a motion was made from the floor and seconded to change the bylaws to allow the association to levy fines for association violations. The wording of the change has been completed. A motion was made by Bruce that we use this. Charles seconded it. A copy of the change will be sent out with the notice of the annual meeting to be voted on at that time.

We will follow Roberts Rules of Order at the annual meeting. This was also brought up at last years annual meeting.

The rework on the tennis court repair will performed this spring.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 AM.
